Wayne's parents home in San Francisco. This is the house

he grew up in. Just refinished with OSMO and new paint!

Wayne just got back from refinishing his parents floors in San
Francisco. They had very old carpet, and he was able to pull up and sand and finish the red oak parquet with OSMO non toxic finish. They have lived in this house since 1949!

Reclaimed Red Oak - Barn Wood with NON Toxic OSMO Finish

This beautiful wood has been reclaimed from barns back East.
It was rough sawn in different widths, and is full of character.

Installing around the existing fireplace was a challenge, but with
patience, and experiece we were able install so it looks like the wood was layed first and contours the rough edges of the fireplace rocks.

Sealed with a low VOC Safecoat. Beautiful!
The wood is expensive though (over $10.00 sq ft), because it takes more labor in
reclaiming wood. Reclaimed wood tends to be more expensive
than FSC, but FSC is totally green and an environmental good choice.
