After the paint was removed.

Fir Floors rescued from under paint??

Not sure why anyone would paint a beautiful wood floor, but
these floors are being recovered. It takes a bit more work to remove the paint, but well worth it.

Refinish before you Move In!

If your going to be refinishing within a couple of years it might be a good idea to refinish before you move into a new house so you don't have to logistically move all the furniture out again. Here Wayne and Luvin put the final coat on Julie's new house before she and Joe move in.

Vida Grandis & Liptus Install

Install Vida Grandis 1500 sq ft + these pretty Liptus stairs. Had to remove carpet, tackless, and build up in an old Crown Hill Residence. It was a challenge to get all the floors to one level. Installed New FSC Vida Grandis from Environmental Home Center and finished with OSMO Polyx Oil. The Vida Grandis is a softer wood, and takes more effort in sanding to get all swirl marks out. You can not currently buy Vida Grandis treads, but the closest would be Liptus which is what these are. Rich red tones in both woods, with more character in Vida Grandis than Liptus.

We routinely get asked what we are working on and thought it would be great to start blogging all our jobs with photos. While it would be nice to have a digital record of all the jobs from the past years, we'll start with the present.
